The winners of the 2019 Hire Awards of Excellence have been announced by HAE EHA (Hire Association Europe and Event Hire Association) during an event that was held last weekend in the Grosvenor House hotel in London.
Over the course of the evening, which was hosted by Strictly Come Dancing star and TV presenter Anton Du Beke, winners in 13 different categories were announced. These winners were chosen from a shortlist of companies active in plant, tool, equipment or event hire in the UK.
Two companies managed to get 2 awards. AFI Uplift had 6 nominations, and won 2 awards with Louise Costello (Hire Manager of the Year and Hire Achiever of the Year). Niftylift managed to get 2 awards from 3 nominations (Hire Industry Supplier of the Year and Best Use of New Media).
